Spirituality is about how we pursue questions of meaning in our lives. It defines how we connect to our deepest selves and others, how we exist in relationship to Creator and Creation, and how we give thanks for what is most precious and beautiful in this world.

Our culture has been badly damaged by merit-based visions of spirituality that value false images of holiness and perfection over what is real and true. Yet an authentic spiritual life demands that we show up not with a fake or “superior” version of ourselves, but rather, that we invite the full truth of our messy, wounded, screwed up and sometimes unexpectedly lovely selves into friendship with God.

The Wind Rose Collaborative is firmly rooted in the belief that there is no one “right” way to live out our spirituality, only the “real” way, a path which is unique for every human person. The work I offer at Wind Rose is a response to our shared need for earnest conversation around deep and holy things, and our communal sense of longing for more abundant relationship with God and each other. Whether you identify as religious, agnostic, atheist, or something in between, your individual spirit will be welcomed and celebrated here. Together, we will laugh because life is beautiful and absurd, and cry because it is painful and so much harder than any of us ever thought it would be.
